This covered market presents the best of local produce. Upcycling is at the heart of its design with palettes used everywhere, while an enticing blue light draws the eye to the drink shelves.

It gives the impression of a cool refrigerator, or the Val-de-Travers absinthe. In the centre, displays are mobile, sometimes adapted to hold even more produce with the addition of wire mesh. Decorating the space are photographs, with a portrait of the famous Ernest taking pride of place to give the setting an immediate historical, authentic touch.

The project was awarded the 2015 - 2016 Trade Award of Lausanne.
